Level 1 — The Zoo Lesson 6In this lesson, children will learn about the letter b. The lesson focuses on the letter b’s sound, its shape, and words that start with b. The different activities have children focus on these features using a variety of fun games. As with all Reading Eggs lessons, the lesson ends with a book which is read aloud. |
Level 1 — The Zoo Lesson 26In this lesson, children will make a word family of different words that end with ad. Word families are a great way for children to build their phonics skills and to begin understanding how words work. By this lesson, students are reading books with simple sentences. At the end of the lesson, a very popular Reading Eggs character pops out of the egg as a reward. |
Level 2 — The Playground Lesson 3After the first 40 lessons, children start Level 2 The Playground. Level 2 lessons cover: more phonic skills; a range of high frequency sight words such as has and said, and build increased reading fluency. In this lesson, children build the id word family and also read and make sentences. The book, Sid the Kid features some popular Reading Eggs characters in the playground to further engage children. |
