With Study Island, Partin Elementary provides standards-based supplemental instruction, practice, and assessment to all students in grades 3-5. Since the high-performing school began using Study Island in 2006, students have improved their performance on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) and often outscore their peers in Seminole County Public Schools. In 2011, the percentage of Partin Elementary students achieving at the proficient level or above on the FCAT was 97 percent in reading and math, 95 percent in writing, and 89 percent in science.
